An appealing example of commercial design created to celebrate the opening of a new gas plant in Dijon. Fine photogravure printing and the deployment of successful photomontage elevate an otherwise mundane subject. Although no attribution is found within the publication, it’s likely the work of Francis Bernard (1900-1979) who was an art director at Paul-Martial at the time.
Some faint discolouration to the bottom of the cover, else fine. Rare, no copies located on OCLC.
