Background information on the history of the Paris Metro, illustrated with fine photographs of the work in progress, stations, coaches, etc. In a fine Art Deco typography, especially notable in the covers, chapter headings, title page and endpapers.
Surprisingly rare with only five copies located in the US at Princeton, Yale, Columbia, The Smithsonian, and The Wolfsonian.Spine rubbed at the head and tail with some loss to the silver, overall some minor wear, a very good copy.
